Lined with resin for waterproofing, also gives the form of the vessel extra strength.

Due to the hand made nature of these vessels, sizes and shapes may vary slightly from piece to piece.
 

Suggested level to fill water- no higher than the waist.

Wax goddess with bee's wax every few months to keep her jewel like shine.

Made fit for use, however if you desire extra stability fill with a small amount of water or sand.

Barrel/Pit firing is a native firing process which dates back to 29,000 bc making it the oldest firing technique known to man. This magical unglazed ceramic process creates one of a kind works of art that can never be repeated, giving way to endless possibilities, by the fact that the pieces seem to be created by nature herself. The colours and markings decortaing the body of the pieces were created using metal oxides and organic matter such as seaweed, skins of fruit, veg and nut shells, all of which vapourise within the firing and are obsorbed into the porous clay body.
